About the Presenter
Elaine Haven is a creative hands-on teacher with many years of elementary classroom experience. She writes teacher activity books that focus on math, reading, and games and she knows how to make learning fun.
In 1997 Elaine won the Teacher of the Year Award at her school and in 1998 she won the Presidential Award for elementary math. She has written 9 teacher activity books- the first three books were on the grades 5-8 level and the last 6 books were on the grades Pre-K to 5 level.
For the past 10 years Elaine has been presenting workshops for Educators Training Network across the United States. She has been trained in brain based learning and presentation skills. Her workshops are innovative and fun, and they are aligned with the basic skills we all teach.
At the present time Elaine is the training director at ETN and also presents workshops at school sites and hotels. She is presently working on another activity book.
